heap started with a problem
we faced ourselves.
Back in 2020, we were looking for a better way to manage our finances. We tried many finance apps, but we couldn't find one that felt truly simple, clear, and enjoyable to use.
So we decided to build the app we wanted for ourselves.
Created by two friends, Armen and Danylo, heap began as a small idea: make managing money feel less complicated, more structured, and inherently natural.

Where it all started
We started exploring how personal finance could become easier. We studied existing solutions, collected ideas, and imagined a different way to interact with money — one that feels simple instead of overwhelming.

The first concepts and designs started coming to life. We experimented with layouts, user flows, and different approaches to make financial information clearer and easier to understand.
Building the foundation
As the idea grew, a product design lead joined our journey and helped transform early concepts into a more complete experience. Together, we focused on creating something structured, intuitive, and beautiful — where every element has a purpose.

When AI started changing the way people use technology, we saw an opportunity to rethink personal finance.
We didn't want to create just another expense tracker. We wanted to build a smart financial companion that understands your money, helps you see patterns, and supports better decisions.

After years of ideas, experiments, and improvements, we started actively building heap.
