By using heap, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service description

heap is a personal finance tracking app with optional AI features. You input your accounts and transactions manually for budgeting and analytics.

3. Accounts and sign-in

You access heap using Sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and sign-in method.

4. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use heap for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.

5. Your content

You may provide content such as transaction details, notes, messages, and images/files.

You retain ownership of your content. You grant us a limited right to process your content only to:

6. AI features disclaimer

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not suitable for your situation. AI features are provided for informational purposes only and are not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.

You are responsible for verifying information and decisions.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app, including attempts to disrupt, abuse, exploit, or reverse engineer the service, or to use the service for unlawful purposes.

8. Subscriptions, trials, billing

Paid plans and trials (if offered) are processed by Apple via the App Store and are governed by Apple's terms and billing rules, including cancellations and refunds.

You manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

9. Availability and changes

We may update, modify, or discontinue parts of heap at any time. We do not guarantee continuous availability or error-free operation.

10. Intellectual property

The app, its design, code, and branding are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them except where permitted by law.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, heap is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or losses arising from your use of the app or reliance on AI outputs.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim (or the minimum allowed by law).

13. Termination

You may stop using heap at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if needed for security, legal reasons, or if you violate these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, while preserving any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
